A light emulsion designed to stay in the hair. Shea gives weight and definition, argan adds shine, and a plant emulsifier means it spreads like a cream instead of a greasy oil. Water-based, so it is preserved.
Method

Sanitise equipment. Heat water, glycerine and aloe to 70 °C in one jug; shea, argan and emulsifying wax in another until melted and at 70 °C.

Pour water phase into oil phase while blending. Blend in bursts until it reaches 40 °C and is creamy.

Add preservative, blend, bottle.
How to use
- On damp hair, a pump or two scrunched through the lengths. Air-dry or diffuse.
- Rub a tiny amount between palms to smooth flyaways on dry hair.
