Dissolvable dishwasher sheets (PVA film method)

A thinner, wetter version of the tab mixture spread on water-soluble PVA film and dried into flexible sheets. They tear in half for small loads and dissolve in the pre-wash spray.
Method

Mix dry ingredients, then castile and glycerine, to a stiff paste (add water by the teaspoon).

Spread 2 mm on PVA film. Dry at 45 °C until fully matte and dry (6–8 hours).

Cut into 5 × 6 cm squares, store airtight with silica.
How to use
- One sheet in the detergent compartment, or laid flat on the door.
Tips
- Keep castile to 2 tbsp — more and you'll get suds leaking from the door.
