Arrowroot soaks up oil; cacao tints it for darker hair so you don't walk out with a grey part. A spoon of kaolin clay adds a little texture and lift.

Mix the powders. Add the essential oil, shake well, and leave for 24 hours so the scent spreads through.
How to use
- Dust a little onto the roots with the brush, wait 2 minutes, then massage and brush out.
- Use sparingly — more is not better.

- Blondes: skip the cacao and add ½ tsp ground cinnamon for warmth if you like.
